Kids & Teens Acting Classes & Camps

Imagine a world where you explore and develop your creative talent on a daily basis. Got a bit of the "class clown" or actor/actress in you? Then discover how enrolling in kid and teen classes and camps puts you on a path to TV and film success.

We've found it necessary to establish and promote a unique series of programs designed to train young actors/actresses with the skills to meet the growing industry demand for young star seekers. In fact, we're the only school in Toronto to offer such unique programs and even provide intensive forums for training with camp experiences.

See how our New Showbiz Kid's Camp puts your child front-and-center with newfound acting skills. Our kid's program focuses on maintaining a professional attitude including on-set behaviours, procedures, scene study and monologues. Your child's conduct on the film or TV set could either enhance or negatively affect future audition possibilities. The Munchkin Kid's Acting On Camera Workshop provides those between the ages of 5-7 to build self-esteem and confidence in front of a camera. Most classes only contain 12 students emphasizing individual attention and progressive development. Our Teen's program reflects the depth of our kid's program with a new course, Frank Caruso Teenage Special Acting camp course.
  • Character Development.
  • Cold Reading Techniques.
  • Audition Tips.
  • Warm-Up Techniques/Improvisation.
  • "How to Land that Role" class.
All our youth courses have one goal in mind: to have each student progress toward completely developing his/her talent, performing a convincing audition for casting directors.

It is possible to live and develop your dreams. See how you and your kid or teen can build towards an exciting career in the expanding fields of film and TV. The experienced practical instructors of The Toronto Academy of Acting will be your coaches all the way.
